I felt exact the same way as the author wrote. This is because I used to live in America for a while, I still feel at home spending my life in Japan. However, after I came back to Japan I really started to missing my life in America. Thus, as what she and me felt and thought were we want to find out our chances that we cannot find in our homecountry, and to feel a culture difference to expand and know ways of thought.
I agree that it is difficult to figure out which country you belong to, entirely. You have a life in both countries.
